The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulates all solicitors in England and Wales along with registered European and foreign lawyers. It only awards accreditation to solicitors who meet their high standards and examines those that don’t.

Law Society

The Law Society represents and governs solicitors for the jurisdiction of England and Wales. As well as providing support to practising and training solicitors, it also acts as a powerful body in law reform. Members are often consulted by ministers when legal issues are being debated in Parliament.

The Law Society has a series of accreditation schemes which act as a signifier of particular expertise in solicitors. If a firm is accredited by the Law Society, this means that they have one or more practitioners whose skills, knowledge and experience in at least one major legal area have been tested and certified against their rigorous standards.

Express Solicitors is a Law Society Accredited personal injury practice. Only 0.094% of UK lawyers have this accreditation, and the firm is proud to have six staff members on the Law Society Specialist Personal Injury Panel (Sharon DenbyJonathan FlatteryAdele GreenoughCarlos LopezRichard Lowery, and Daniel Slade) and one member on the Law Society Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel, namely Carlos Lopez.

The charity delivers a diverse array of support services, encompassing brain injury rehabilitation programs, caregiver assistance, social reintegration efforts, community outreach endeavours, and respite care provisions.

Being listed in Headway’s directory means that each contact solicitor listed, as well as some of their colleagues, will undergo Headway training specifically designed for solicitors involved in brain injury cases. Express team members will also adhere to the Headway code of conduct.

While our collaboration isn’t new, we’ve remained steadfast supporters of Headway for numerous years. Notably, Carlos Lopez, Partner and Head of Clinical Negligence, has served as a trustee for Headway Lancashire since 2014.

James Maxey, Chief Executive Officer of Express, actively participated in Headway North Staffs’ recent AGM, and our contributions have included financial support, fundraising endeavours, and day-to-day assistance through our outreach services for patients and their families.

Leading the partnership is Daniel Slade, Chief Executive Officer (Legal) at Express.
