Housing Trust Could Be In Hot Water After Salford Gas Explosion

Dramatic scenes in Salford yesterday as four houses were wrecked by a gas explosion. Staff here at our office in Manchester reported hearing the blast even as far as five miles away.

The incident made national news headlines as the site looked akin to a war zone yet miraculously nobody was killed. An elderly lady suffered 30% burns and is said to be in a serious condition in hospital our thoughts go out to her and her family.

HSE And GMP Launch Investigation After Salford Gas Explosion

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have begun a joint enquiry with their officers at the scene added to the 50odd firefighters who were there yesterday and today.
