The Beauty Of Employer’s Liability Law In Its Current Form

On Monday I blogged about Lord Young’s recommendations regarding health and safety law reform and in particular how he wants to reshape employer’s liability law.  He seems to favour assessing the nature of the work before deciding whether employers need to comply with the law.

I’m not so sure as some working environments which in theory should be low risk (e.g. an office) could in fact be hazardous for other reasons.
