On Friday 25th July 2014, employees at Express Solicitors took part in a dress down day to raise funds for the Joining Jack charity.
Jack is the son of a Wigan rugby player who unfortunately in 2011 was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy for which there is currently no cure. This is a muscle wasting disease where Jack will no longer be able to walk by the time he reaches adolescence. Funds are being raised towards clinical trials to help move things forward for Jack and other children like him.
Employees at Express each donated money to wear casual clothes to work and a sum of £96.52 was raised. This amount was kindly doubled by the firm’s partners to make the overall donation £193.04
