On Saturday 6th December, three employees from Express Solicitors volunteered to help raise money for Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society by collecting donations from fans at turnstiles for home Manchester City V Everton football game.

The trio stood outside in the freezing December weather for 2.5hrs to help support one of the firm’s nominated charities. Luckily, Manchester City fans were in good spirits as they won the match 1-0 against Everton. Overall £1,254.44 was raised on the day which is a fantastic result for the charity!

Legal Apprentice at Express, Shaunna Fitzpatrick commented: “The fans were really friendly, and some were very generous with their donations. A lot of fans were also keen to find out more information about the charity so it was good to help spread the word about the fantastic work that they do.”

Just as they had finished collecting donations and making their way out of the grounds, Josh Goucher was kindly offered a free ticket to watch the match by a fan whose friend could no longer make it – an offer Josh could not refuse!
