Express Solicitors are delighted to announce three new promotions in its Occupier’s and Public Liability department.
Abigail Perry, Wendy Ferguson, and Lauren Copeland have all been promoted from the firm’s new client team to work as Litigation Executives in the Occupier’s and Public Liability department alongside Partner, Daniel Slade. These promotions come after the firm’s caseload grew by 45% over the past year.
Daniel Slade comments: “Express Solicitors have an ambitious growth strategy in place and each year caseloads increase in each department. The firm is dedicated to training and takes great pride in offering a number of internal promotions as departments expand. The three new promotions to my team will provide added support and ensure that high levels of service are maintained despite increasing caseloads.”
In their new role as Litigation Executives, the three will have their own clients and will deal with any new cases with a value up to £25,000. The role also entails; writing to Defendants; requesting disclosure of documents that the Defendants are obliged to provide; answering all client queries and being responsible for client care; liaising with medical experts and instructing them; and chasing up Defendants for a response.
Abigail and Wendy joined the firm after taking part in the Mentor Scheme whilst studying at university. Both were offered full-time roles in the firm’s new client team at which they excelled, leading to their current promotion as Litigation Executives. Lauren joined the new client team in March 2014 having completed the Bar Professional Training Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.
