Adam Singh-Hayer is a Litigation Executive in the Employers Liability department at Express Solicitors, having initially joined the firms New Client Team in November 2017.
Adam works on a wide variety of accidents at work from slips and trips to cases where people have been assaulted at work. Adam also has experience in public liability claims and road traffic accident claims.
When asked what he likes best about his role, Adam commented “The best thing about my role is knowing I’ve made a positive difference to people’s lives after their accidents at work. No one should be injured doing their job especially when they’ve done nothing wrong.”
“I have had the opportunity to work under two Associate Solicitors as their Litigation Assistant which has allowed me to gain a wide variety of experience in dealing with high value and difficult cases. These experiences allowed me approach cases with a different view whilst still obtaining the best amount of compensation for my clients”
“Whilst working as a Litigation Assistant for Seetal Sagar-Jhanji, I was involved in a mediation at the Royal Courts of Justice in London where we helped settle a case for a claim for over £70,000 for a woman who suffered a serious back injury at work. Additionally, I’ve also obtained successful results on behalf of clients in pre-action and interlocutory hearings which have been heavily defended.”
Prior to working at Express, Adam studied law at Liverpool John Moores University where he was awarded the Community Excellence Scholarship. He then went and studied the Bar at Manchester Metropolitan University where he also qualified as a Civil-Commercial Mediator. In July 2018, Adam was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn.
Adam has also spent time working in the High Court and Court of Appeal where he has sat with several senior Judges on many cases where significant issues of law were considered.
