Clare Hurst is a Trainee Solicitor in the Occupier’s and Liability department, having initially joined the firm’s New Client Team in December 2014.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role at Express Solicitors, Clare answered: “I love the variety of cases I am able to assist with working in this department. There is something new and exciting to look forward to every day and working closely with Jennifer, Catherine and Kathryn gives me an excellent insight into various approaches to different issues.
“I am constantly developing my own legal knowledge and awareness. The communication and support within the team and the firm as a whole really stands out at Express and this attitude is reflected in our relationship with our clients, which is, of course, imperative.”
Clare understands that each and every client is a priority; she is focused on building a rapport with every client she speaks to and making them aware that she is always there to help, advise, reassure or assist in any way possible. Clare appreciates that clients and their families have often been through terrible ordeals and she believes that her job is not only to help them to achieve some justice, but to guarantee that their road to achieving that justice is smooth.
Before joining Express Solicitors, Clare gained a Law degree at the University of Manchester. She has also completed the LPC at the University of Law in Manchester. Whilst at university, Clare volunteered in the Legal Advice Centre and she has also volunteered as a Student legal Advisor at the University of Law Legal Advice Clinic. Clare explains: “Participating in these schemes gave me great satisfaction in being able to help real people with real legal problems and confirmed my ambitions in wanting to progress to be a solicitor.”
