On 27th September 2012, 12 Express employees took part in the Manchester Legal Walk to raise funds for The North West Legal Support Trust. The walk around the city centre was 10km long and it took the Express team only a mere 2hrs and 10mins to complete.
The team had a brief pit stop half way through to refuel themselves on energy drinks and chocolate before setting off on their way again. Spirits were at an all time high when our team crossed The Lowry Bridge as they could see Spinningfields and the end was finally in sight. Little did our exhausted troupe know that they still had another kilometre to walk due to an extra loop on the course!
The Express team did brilliantly and raised money for an excellent cause. The North West Legal Support Trust gives free legal advice to people on low incomes making a huge difference to people’s lives helping to reduce debt, poverty, homelessness and combating discrimination and injustice.
Express Solicitors managed to raise over £1,200 for The North West Legal Support Trust which we believe is a fantastic contribution to such a vital charity within our community.
