Paul works in the Occupier’s and Public Liability department headed up by Partner Daniel Slade. These include slips and trips, sporting accidents, non-UK accidents, accidents on aircrafts and defective products. The Occupier’s and Public Liability department at Express have also dealt with many of the ‘toxic sofa’ cases, suing Argos and other large furniture suppliers for skin conditions suffered by many people across the UK from their defective sofas. Paul was also heavily involved with Avandia litigation cases against the pharmaceutical giant – GlaxoSmithKline.
When asked what he likes best about his job working as a Trainee Paul answered: “I enjoy speaking to clients and help them with their claims. I am a good listener and can understand what clients are going through offering them help and advice along the way. I like working at Express as everyone is really nice and eager to help you develop; teaching you what they can to ensure that you can progress within the firm.”
Before joining Express Solicitors, Paul completed his Law degree at The University of Lincoln; he then went on to gain his LPC from The College of Law in Manchester.
