Alison joined Express Solicitors in July 2023 with an extensive and varied background in marketing, communications, journalism and PR.

Having written for a range of magazines and newspapers, as well as having worked in a range of PR and communications roles which involved extensive copywriting, Alison’s passion lies in the art of storytelling and ensuring the right messages get to the right people at the right time.

She said: “I’m really excited to be joining Express Solicitors at a time when there is so much to shout about both internally and externally. I’m looking forward to extending the reach of those good news stories and of the Express brand in general.”

When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and heading into the countryside (particularly the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands) as much as possible.

Seb Halstead joined Express Solicitors in December 2023.

He graduated with a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from the University of Salford in 2013 and has spent the past 10 years working as an in-house marketing manager for professional service firms.

During his career he has hosted a range large corporate events, successfully project managed rebrands and has launched several websites.

“I am looking forward to working as part of an ambitious and growing department. Developing what is already a strong brand, and further establishing our digital presence.”

When not working Seb runs his own wine club and enjoys playing golf at his local golf club, Chorlton Cum Hardy

Ben Allan, originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland, has been living in Salford since 2019.

Having studied film production at the University of Salford, Ben knows his way around a camera!

Ben is an active part of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion network and supports the group through assisting with events and producing videography and photography.
