Express Solicitors are helping 3 injured people after a ‘Ski Jump’ fairground ride collapsed at a bonfire display.
The accident occurred on 5th November at Heaton Park in North Manchester and paramedics were called to the scene. Whilst the ride was in motion, a steel staircase leading up to it collapsed causing the 3 victims, including a child, to suffer from a number of painful injuries including; whiplash symptoms such as neck pain, and soft tissue damage.
Express Solicitors has a vast amount of experience dealing with accidents that occur on fairground rides and in theme parks. Along with those injured at Heaton Park last week, the firm has also recently taken on a case involving children who were injured on a fairground Ferris wheel, when a carriage dropped from height.
A recently settled case Express Solicitors won involved a teenage girl whose foot became trapped in a theme park ride, causing her to suffer ligament damage. Thanks to the work of Associate Solicitor, Leanne Rowley, at Express Solicitors, the girl was awarded £5,000 in compensation for her injuries.
