Lisa Steventon is a Solicitor in the CCL department at Express Solicitors. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 1997 with a BA Joint Hons Sociology and Philosophy; completed her CPE and LPC at MMU and qualified in 2005. She later completed her LLM on The Equality Act 2010 at UCLAN in 2016.

Coming from a PI background, Lisa has subsequently transferred those skills into Subrogated Loss where she now has conduct of recoveries arising out of property damage including subsidence, escapes of water (ingress), impact, fires and explosions ranging up to multi track value, whilst also running civil litigation cases on behalf of the company.

Lisa enjoys drawing on her wide- ranging experience and skills in order to bring justice to individual and commercial clients. She finds no two cases are the same, which keeps the job interesting. She enjoys the challenges the role can bring and flourishes working in such a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Since every case is unique, Lisa finds it rewarding to bring her knowledge to the table as it keeps her thinking on her feet and allows her to adapt her strategy and tactics to get the best result possible for her clients, enabling them to get the outcome they deserve.

She takes a direct and straightforward approach, which clients appreciate.
