Donna Simcock is a Partner in the Employers Liability department at Express Solicitors, having joined the firm in September 2018.

When asked what she likes best about her role, Donna commented “I always enjoy building up a good working relationship with the client and having that interaction with them, constantly striving to improve and exceed their expectations.”

“I come from a background where I have always acted on behalf of claimants, giving them the justice, they deserve which in turn influences employers to improve their health and safety in the workplace”

“I have over 20 years’ experience in dealing with a variety of claimant personal injury cases including, accidents at work, industrial disease and civil assaults from first instruction right through to conclusion, whether it be a settlement or trial. I have always worked for the injured party.”

“I pride myself on being very organised and having good time management skills which in turn helps me to deal with cases more swiftly and efficiently, whether it be interacting with clients or third parties, and bringing cases to a more than satisfactory conclusion. I have a good reputation as a litigator who can be relentless in fighting for the maximum compensation for clients. “

“I previously worked for a trade union personal injury firm for almost 27 years. I started my career with them initially as a secretary. After 4 years working in this capacity, I decided I wanted to progress into a fee earning capacity and therefore spent 4 years at college on a part time basis, whilst still working full time and bringing up my family. After passing the last of my exams in 2000, I was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2001. During my training at college, I transitioned from my secretarial role into a fee earning role at work and have never looked back since.”

Donna currently commutes from Fenton in Stoke on Trent. In her spare time Donna loves to attend Spinning classes and has also recently taken up baking as well.
