Malena Leahy Fernandez is a Trainee Solicitor in the Occupiers’ and Public Liability department.
She obtained her law degree and a Masters in International Law from The University of Exeter.
Malena joined Express Solicitors in January 2024, starting as a Litigation Assistant working alongside Nina Ramsden, Partner on catastrophic injury claims gaining experience on complex claims.
In January 2025, Malena was promoted to Trainee Solicitor and is currently undergoing her training contract and is on route to becoming a qualified solicitor. She currently works alongside Ahmed Jarad, Associate Solicitor. Malena has her own caseload involving a variety of claims such as animals, school injuries, trips and slips.
