Joe originally studied Ancient History & Philosophy at the University of Leeds in 2023 and then chose to undertake a MA Law Conversion at the University of Law, graduating in 2024. Before joining express, Joe within his law conversion elected to write a dissertation on exploring the potential move to Fixed Recoverable Costs in Clinical Negligence claims and its impact on improving access to justice.
Upon completing his studies Joe joined the graduate scheme in April 2025, were his determination and work ethic lead to a training contract and undertaking the SQE Degree Apprenticeship in December 2025.
