Express Solicitors has recorded another rise in turnover which now stands at £88.5m, up from last year’s figure of £70.6m.
Medical reporting agency Ontime Reports, and sister company to Express Solicitors, is up to £14.8m from £11.5m last year for turnover and that figure makes up part of the overall total.
Earlier in the year, Express bought Liverpool-based HNK Solicitors – with its civil liberties, data breach, cyber crime and criminal injury claims -along with fellow Manchester-based personal injury law firm, Graham Coffey & Co. The acquisitions meant approximately 11,500 cases being transferred over and around 40 members of staff.
Express Solicitors CEO, James Maxey said: “We’ve already smashed the turnover target we set ourselves a few years back and we’re continuing to develop thanks to our incredibly talented staff who support the overall growth strategy of the business. We’re now hurtling towards that £100m milestone.
“We’ve had another very busy year with developments across the whole firm, new departments created, more accolades and further progression in The Lawyer’s UK 200 – we’re now at #70 and hoping for an even better position when the results are announced later this month.
“We’ve again been ranked as Outstanding to work for by Best Companies and we’re rated Excellent on Trustpilot from nearly 8,000 client reviews.
“We doubled our graduate training cohort this year and we currently have 125 trainees. Our training programme has really made its mark in the industry and received The Princess Royal Training Award and we’re still looking to make it even better.
“With the acquisition of HNK and Coffeys our staff count is now over 800 and our recent promotions have bolstered our senior team and the wider business.”
Express Solicitors is currently recruiting and continues to attract a high level of interest from lawyers and non-lawyers across all areas of the business.
