More about Josh Beattie

Josh graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2019 with a LLB in Law with Criminology. He completed his LPC and LLM at the University of Law in 2022, before going on to secure a training contract.

Josh joined the firm in April 2025 as a newly qualified solicitor. He has worked in civil litigation since 2020, having previously represented clients in both personal injury and debt recovery matters.

In his current role, Josh works within the Civil Liberties department, representing clients in a range of matters including wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, trespass to property and assault and battery.

Recently qualified, Josh brings a fresh perspective and a relentless commitment to justice for individuals who have experienced mistreatment at the hands of the police. Josh understands the complexities and sensitivities involved in cases against the police. He ensures his clients feel heard, supported and empowered throughout the legal process.

Outside of the office, Josh is a passionate Liverpool FC supporter, enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as playing football and going to the gym.
