Our annual Pride Festival made a spectacular return this year, delivering a fantastic blend of high energy, entertainment and essential conversation.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the appearance of the fierce and funny Bonnie Ann Clyde, from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 7! Bonnie Anne Clyde hosted a chaotic and brilliant music bingo event, bringing her trademark wit and glamour, ensuring the energy levels stayed sky-high.
Beyond the music and fun, we were proud to host several events focused on the heart of the LGBTQ+ movement: education and advocacy.
The week featured a powerful and insightful panel discussion with leading voices, including:
- Olivia Campbell Cavendish, Human Rights Lawyer
- Dr Michelle Croston, host of the vital HIV Matters podcast
- Representatives from the amazing Sparkle Charity
- Evelyn Crutchley, respected EDI Consultant
The panel offered a crucial space for dialogue on human rights, health matters, and the importance of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all space and we also put our attendees knowledge to the test with a special Pride Quiz held earlier in the week!
