Express has taken part in the AvMA (Actions Against Medical Accidents) bring and buy challenge, led by our Clinical Negligence team. AvMA provides vital information, support and advice to thousands of people affected by avoidable medical harm each year.
The car boot-style sale took over our south Manchester headquarters’ Town Hall and had everything from books and toys to homemade lemon curd. There was also a chance to win big in the tombola, on the football scratch cards and in the ‘name that dog’ competition.
We managed to raise over £600 from the sale which was then doubled by the firm to mean a total of £1,264!
