More about Adam Bale

Adam is a Pupil Barrister in the Advocacy team at Express Solicitors. He graduated from the University of Sunderland with First-Class Honours in Law, receiving awards for the highest overall mark in his cohort and top performance in commercial law. He then completed the Bar Course and Master of Laws at Northumbria University, attaining Distinctions in both.

Before joining Express, Adam played professional football for two national clubs. He captained academy and reserve teams, worked with coaching staff on player development and contributed to initiatives supporting players preparing for careers beyond football.

Adam also worked as a paralegal at a national law firm, where he assisted on personal injury matters, preparing cases for litigation, analysing liability and quantum and drafting documents to support clients’ recovery.

He enjoys the variety of work available during pupillage, values the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and takes pride in contributing to the resolution of clients’ cases.
