Alex Strapps is an Advocate with Express Chambers. She earned a BA in Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford. While there, she volunteered on projects such as the Raising and Giving Ball and the Ghana Library Project. She also served on the JCR Committee. Alex received a Distinction on the Barrister Training Course at BPP in Manchester. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn in 2025.
Alex greatly enjoys working as an Advocate; she has built strong relationships with professional and lay clients and regularly appears in court, in small claims trials and interlocutory hearings in matters from fast-track to multi-track. Alex is also regularly instructed to draft legal documents, including advice on the merits of settlement, particulars of claim, and grounds of appeal.
