Chris Lowe is the Consultant Sales Director leading the New Client Team at Express Solicitors. Having first joined the firm as a consultant in January 2023, Chris took on his current leadership role in October of that year.
With 26 years of experience building, coaching, and developing high-performing teams, Chris brings a leadership style that is warm, hands-on, and built around a simple but deeply held belief: that people perform at their best when they feel genuinely cared for, valued, and happy in what they do.
The New Client Team sits at the very heart of what Express Solicitors does. When someone has been involved in an accident and doesn’t know where to turn, it is this team that takes that first call. From the very first moment, the priority is simple — to make sure every person feels truly listened to, genuinely understood, and cared for in the way they deserve. Just a genuine, unhurried conversation with someone who takes the time to understand what has happened, what the person needs, and how best to help them move forward. For many people who call, that conversation alone brings a sense of relief — a feeling that they are not alone, that their situation matters, and that someone is genuinely in their corner. Chris ensures his team carries that commitment into every single interaction, at what is often one of the most difficult moments of a client’s life.
Chris began his career in the pharmaceutical industry, working his way through regional and national leadership positions before reaching Associate Director level. A holder of an MSc in Business and Management, it was a grounding that gave him a deep understanding of people, of what motivates them, and of how to bring out the best in those around him. Thirteen years ago he joined insight6 — one of the UK’s leading firms in customer experience transformation — where he developed a deep appreciation for the inseparable relationship between customer experience and performance. It is a philosophy that continues to shape his approach at Express Solicitors today.
Development sits at the core of everything Chris does as a leader. He invests heavily in recruiting people with the right values and attitude, and from there pours real energy into helping each person grow. Through structured coaching, targeted training, and consistent one-to-one support, Chris creates the conditions for people to discover what they are truly capable of. He has an instinct for seeing in people what they have not yet seen in themselves — and takes enormous personal pride in watching them step into new roles, take on greater responsibility, and build careers and futures they are genuinely proud of. He believes that investment in people is never wasted — and the careers that have grown within the New Client Team, many progressing into more senior roles from within, are testament to that.
Equally important to Chris is the culture of the team itself. He works hard to foster an environment that is cohesive, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of — where everyone feels they belong, contributions are recognised, and wellbeing is taken seriously. Under his leadership, the New Client Team is not simply a group of people doing the same job. It is a close-knit, motivated team with a shared sense of purpose — and that, Chris believes, is what makes the difference both for clients and for the people within it.
