More about James Watkins
James initially graduated from the University of Leeds with an undergraduate degree in politics. Following this, he attended Manchester Law School, where he received a graduate diploma in law and obtained the grade of ‘distinction’. He also achieved the highest grade of his cohort. Following this, James studied the BPTC and was called to the Bar in 2019.
Following his legal studies James acquired legal experience while working as a county court advocate, as well as later working in regulation law as both an advocate and a case manager.
Having joined Express Solicitors in 2024, first as a pupil barrister and later as a qualified barrister, James is experienced in a wide range of personal injury law. James strives to adopt a client-focused approach throughout his legal work and will ensure that both lay and professional clients’ voices are heard.
