Kirsty Best is a solicitor in the Occupier’s and Public Liability department. Kirsty graduated from Huddersfield University and completed her LPC at Manchester Metropolitan University. Kirsty began her legal career working for a defendant firm before taking a break from law to raise her family and teach at a preparatory school before becoming the Headteacher.
Kirsty returned to law back in 2017 and enjoyed learning all the new changes that had happened whilst she was away. Kirsty worked at a small private practice in Stockport, covering Personal Injury and Wills & Probate prior to joining Express in January 2024.
When asked about her new role at Express, Kirsty advised “ Everyone has been so welcoming here, they really are such a friendly team. I have learnt so much already in the short time that I have been here. We get a really wide variety of cases which keeps things interesting and there is always lots of work to be done.” “I like taking a case from inception to conclusion and overseeing it every step of the way and ensuring that a client gets the compensation they deserve. The claims process can be quite daunting at times, so I like to reassure clients as we go through the process and hopefully make the process a little easier for them”.
