Malayka Andleeb is currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Occupiers’ Liability and Public Liability department here at Express and joined via the Graduate Scheme.
When asked what she enjoys the most about her role here at Express, Malayka answered: “The diversity in tasks and working in a fantastic team. I am always greeted by warm energy and knowing that some days can be harder but having a group of people who you can lean on for support especially in such a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
“It is vital to understand that the entire litigation process can be daunting and at times, stressful, which is why I think it is so important to try to explain the steps of a client’s claim to them by explaining in simple terms the next stages and possible outcomes. Even just providing general support of comfort and understanding as sometimes all our client’s need is someone to just listen to as they come to us in a very vulnerable position. Clients come to us in need of help form the suffering and pain they have been through, so building a good rapport with them is a key value here at Express.”
