Martha’s legal journey began when she joined Express shortly after completing her A‑levels. She went on to complete a Level 4 Paralegal Apprenticeship with BPP University. Martha spent her first 18-months in our New Client department where she dealt with new enquiries, gaining strong communication skills and was exposed to all types of personal injury claims. Martha qualified as a CILEX paralegal in 2024.
Martha spent 12 months working as a paralegal on predominantly cosmetic negligence matters, developing her skills in a fast‑paced environment. In September 2025 she began a Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship with BPP University and now manages her own caseload of cosmetic negligence and product liability claims. She is on track to qualify as a Solicitor in 2029.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Martha answered: “I work in a fantastic team where I have fantastic support, meaning that we can do our very best to support our clients. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and spending the time talking to my clients to really understand the impact that the incident has had on their lives”.
