Michelle qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and specialises in bringing actions against the police and other public bodies.
She also has experience in wider civil litigation, having begun her legal career in 2007 dealing with road traffic accident and personal injury claims.
Michelle’s expertise in claims against the police includes unlawful arrest, false imprisonment, assault, malicious prosecution, misfeasance in public office, trespass to property, data protection breaches and human rights issues.
As a court advocate, Michelle represents clients at a variety of hearings, including allocation hearings, pre-action disclosure hearings, case management conferences, application hearings and infant settlement approvals.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys cooking, listening to music and attending the theatre.
