Riya Chowdhury is a Trainee Solicitor who joined the firm in January 2025, beginning her career in the Costs department. She quickly demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail, which led to an internal transfer to the Graduate Scheme in April 2025. She is now working within the Occupiers’ and Public Liability department, where she handles a variety of personal injury claims.
She graduated with a 2:1 in LLB Law from The University of Salford in July 2024 and is due to start her training contract with the firm in September 2025. Alongside this, she will begin her SQE1 and SQE2 qualifications at BPP Law School. She aims to qualify as a solicitor in early 2028.
Her passion for law is rooted in a desire to help people, and she finds personal injury work especially rewarding. She is particularly interested in how legal professionals can support individuals affected by negligence, ensuring they receive fair outcomes and feel empowered throughout the process.
