Sophie Wild is a Trainee Solicitor at Express Solicitors. Sophie graduated from Lancaster University in 2023 with a First Class Honours in her Psychology (BSc) degree, which provided her with a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour and the psychological impact of trauma. Following this, she obtained a Postgraduate Counselling Certificate at the University of Salford, enhancing her communication skills and client-focused approach. Sophie then completed her Post-Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in July 2025, achieving a Distinction. This course solidified her interest in civil litigation.
Sophie joined Express through the graduate scheme as a Litigation Assistant in July 2025 and began her training contract in December 2025. Since joining the department, Sophie has worked on a wide variety of complex clinical negligence claims. These have included delayed diagnoses, fatal claims and high-value birth injury claims. Sophie is committed to developing her expertise in clinical negligence further and strives to provide clients with clear and empathetic support.
