During May and June, our employees chose to support St Ann’s Hospice, a charity local to our south Manchester office, that supports patients with life-limiting illnesses by providing specialist care across Greater Manchester.
Not only did Express sponsor the cycling jerseys for this year’s Tour de Manc, but five of our employees took part in the cycling challenge, helping to raise £1,600.
We also held an internal lunch time book sale that helped clear off Express staff’s bookshelves and raise a fantastic £169.
Across our offices we’ve had various donation points and in total we have raised £1,967. Including the sponsorship of the cycling jerseys, Express has donated just over £3,000.
The money raised will go towards St Ann’s #BuildItTogether appeal which will help build and kit out a new hospice at its Heald Green site.
