During June and July, our staff fundraised for MND Association, a charity that offers support to those who have been diagnosed with motor neurone disease as well as their families.
Holding a World Cup sweepstake as well as a movement challenge, Express raised over £1,165 for MND Association.
The charity was nominated by our CHRO Carole Jones, whose friend Rob is living with the condition. She said: “Rob was diagnosed in October 2024 and has always been fit and healthy. It was a massive shock to him and us all when he was diagnosed.
“Rob has a lovely wife and two kids and the impact on them all is profound. This wonderful charity has helped with aids and equipment to assist with his needs.”
