Since Express Solicitors’ acquisition of motorcycle injury specialist Sorrymate, the firm has continued the established charity partnerships developed through Sorrymate and its strong connections with the motorcycle community.
These partnerships support organisations working with motorcyclists, road users and wider communities, including charities providing emergency medical care, promoting motorcycle safety and supporting health and wellbeing.
One of the charities supported by Sorrymate is North West Air Ambulance, which provides vital emergency medical care across the North West. Sorrymate has donated £3,000 to support the charity and its work.
Sorrymate has supported North West Air Ambulance since 2025. The charity relies entirely on donations and fundraising to continue its vital work responding to serious and life-threatening incidents across the region, including road traffic collisions involving motorcyclists.
North West Air Ambulance also hosts an annual Ride Out, bringing motorcyclists together to enjoy a day of riding while raising money for the charity. The 2026 North West Air Ambulance Ride Out will take place on September 20, 2026, giving riders the opportunity to support the charity while enjoying a day out on their motorcycles.
Ahead of this year’s Ride Out, Express Solicitors and members of the Sorrymate team were invited to Manchester Barton Aerodrome, where North West Air Ambulance is based. The visit provided an opportunity to see how donations and fundraising directly support the charity’s emergency response service and the work of its crews.
The 2026 Ride Out is also being held in partnership with Greater Manchester Blood Bikes, an organisation which provides a vital transport service for healthcare providers and which Express Solicitors has previously supported through fundraising.
The partnership with North West Air Ambulance forms part of a wider programme of motorcycle charity partnerships connected with Sorrymate, which have now become part of the wider Express Solicitors group. Through these relationships, Express Solicitors is continuing to support organisations that play an important role in the motorcycle community and provide essential services to people across the North West.
