We have had a vibrant week at the office celebrating the Lunar New Year. As we usher in the Year of the Fire Horse, a sign known for its energy, independence and warmth, we took some time to embrace tradition and enjoy a bit of festive spirit together.
Our celebrations were packed with a variety of activities that brought everyone a little extra luck:
-
Red Blessings: We handed out traditional red envelopes (hóngbāo) to share good fortune. Instead of the usual notes, these were stuffed with gold chocolate coins for a sweet surprise.
-
A Taste of Tradition: We sampled a wide range of Asian snacks, from savoury treats to festive sweets, giving everyone a chance to try something new.
-
Getting Creative: Between making traditional crafts and decorating our space, there was plenty of hands-on fun.
-
Looking Ahead: We spent some time reading through the Lunar zodiac predictions for the year. Whether you are a Horse, a Dragon or a Rabbit, the forecasts sparked some great conversations about what 2026 might hold.
It has been a wonderful way to kick off the new lunar cycle with positivity and a sense of community. Wishing you all a prosperous and energetic year ahead!
