Black Owned Businesses
A key focus of the day was shining a spotlight on local Black-owned businesses. The fair provided a fantastic platform for these entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and products and it was wonderful to see so much support for them. Express employees enjoyed discovering new favourites and supporting local commerce!
Alongside the business stalls, the fair offered a rich exploration of Black history and culture. Of course, no celebration is complete without great food and the culinary offerings were truly enjoyable! From jerk chicken to sweet treats to other delicious dishes, there was something to satisfy every taste.
A huge thank you goes out to every single person who contributed to making this event such a successful tribute to Black History Month. Your enthusiasm, participation and hard work from the organisers and stall holders to every attendee who made the day special.
