Holding knowledge of more complex cases with extensive and catastrophic injuries, Daniel’s most notable case was where the client sustained snapped ligaments in his knee and was at risk for further surgery on this life-changing injury, to add to the complexity of this case, the defendant’s driver was not insured and so Daniel had to use his years of knowledge, experience and understanding of the law which led to a successful outcome and the client receiving £110,000 in compensation.
Another impressive win for Daniel was for a client who delayed making their claim due to asylum status. Despite the specific circumstances being unknown, the claimant suffered from a fractured skull and brain injury which led to persistent headaches and issues with the eyes. At trial, the Court heard of the claimant’s injuries and Daniel was successful in the liability aspect of the case. Daniel then went on to receive an offer of £75,000 for the claimant’s injuries, without the need for further medical evidence or treatment to conclude.
Daniel also has helped a landlady who was stationary at the M6 toll road booth paying for her journey when a defendant driver under the influence of drugs had collided with the client and flipped her vehicle. This horror crash was caught on CCTV and reported by BBC News. The client, and her young son, both narrowly escaped with their lives, however our client had suffered tinnitus, severe back pain and crippling travel anxiety which ultimately led the loss of the pub she ran, leading to current and future income losses. Fortunately, Daniel worked relentlessly to secure the claimant the compensation she deserved and was successful in securing a positive outcome and compensation in the sum of £125,000.
Offering understanding, knowledge in complex cases and passion to provide justice for all, Daniel’s methodical and determined approach provides clients with the best possible chance of not only winning cases but also maximising damages beyond the expected levels of recovery.
