During January and February, our employees chose to support Animal Lifeline. The dog shelter near Stoke on Trent works closely with the Staffordshire branch of brain injury charity Headway, one of the organisations we proudly partner with.
Headway service users have been involved in making items for the kennels in the charity’s workshop and have also helped to walk the dogs – activities that help with their rehabilitation after their injuries.
Over the two months, Express staff generously donated food and treats to help support the dogs at the shelter.
Our Communications Officer Rosario Monachino and Marketing Executive Ben Allan visited the site to deliver the donations and see some of the dogs that will benefit from the support.
In addition to the food donations, we raised over £80 in cash, which we used to purchase more supplies.
