Express Solicitors has completed the acquisition of Recovery Assist, the specialist personal injury firm based in Greater Manchester, hot on the heels of previous acquisitions Aegis Legal Ltd and Sorrymate / Smooth Law.

The deal further accelerates Express Solicitors’ growth strategy and significantly strengthens its portfolio of specialist brands and claim types. As part of the acquisition, Partner Margaret Crausby will join Express Solicitors in a newly created leadership role focused on managing, retaining and developing the new workstreams and brands brought into the business through recent acquisitions.

Margaret will spearhead the development of several specialist areas, including:

  • Expansion of the Sorrymate brand, leveraging Express Solicitors’ larger marketing and operational infrastructure.
  • Growth of HNK Solicitors’ specialist lines, including data breach, actions against the police and CICA claims.
  • Integration and optimisation of new claim types emerging from the firm’s acquisition pipeline.

Her remit will centre on ensuring each acquired brand not only retains its identity and loyal client base, but also benefits from Express Solicitors’ scale, resources and national reach.
