Laura Edgeley is a Partner at Express Solicitors, having been with the firm since 2006, completing her training contract here and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2008.

Laura became a Partner in 2012. Laura has previously handled a mixed caseload including Road Traffic Accidents and Employers Liability cases although latterly specialised in Occupiers and Public Liability claims with a keen interest in horse riding and other sports related accidents and has previously achieved Law Society specialist Personal Injury Panel member.

With 13 years of experience at Express Solicitors, Laura now heads up and has a very active role in our Quality & Progression Team having had many years file handling experience and being responsible for the implementation and improvement of many of the firms reporting procedures.

Since October 2018 Laura is also the Head of our large New Client Team, the first point of contact for all new clients and she is also responsible for the day to day supervision of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority Team. A varied day to day life in the office but loves every second. Laura is also the Data Protection Officer for Express Solicitors.

Samuel Ward is a Litigation Executive in the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority team at Express Solicitors, having joined the firm in January 2020.

“What I love most about my job is that there are people who care about me both as a person and about my professional growth. Additionally, there seems to be a genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals, all revolving around helping the clients to the best of our ability and ensuring their cases run as smoothly as possible.”

“I view my work ethic as the difference maker. I am both driven and determined to be the best at what I do through means of hard work and my meticulousness in regard to client care. What makes me the best at what I do is my willingness to go the proverbial “extra mile” for my clients.”

Sam has completed several marathons and tough mudder events, which he highlights are some of his most noteworthy achievements. Sam added, “They convey my ability to be disciplined and to work hard towards a certain goal.”
