Alice Coulter

Litigation Executive
» Back To Department

Alice Coulter is a Litigation Executive in the Road Traffic Accident department, having joined the firm in June 2019.

When asked what she likes most about her role, Alice went on to say, “I was really surprised how diverse the claims were in the Road Traffic Department. You very much have to think on your feet all the time and adapt your knowledge to each different scenario. Also, I love how rewarding it feels to help an injured client receive the compensation they deserve.”

Alice understands her client’s needs and feelings when taking on a case as she has previous experience with clients through Pro Bono projects, Alice explains, “I feel as though I can quickly build a rapport and trust with clients, and make them feel at ease in this stressful time.”

Before joining the firm Alice obtained a First-Class Honours in LLB with criminology from the University of Manchester, she highlights, “I was absolutely delighted and was so glad all my long nights in the library finally paid off.”

Originally from Northern Ireland, Alice moved to Manchester over 3 years ago and has stayed here ever since.

In her spare time, Alice loves to travel, “I have recently just returned from a holiday in Bali and Barcelona and I was blown away. South East Asia is next on my bucket list for travelling, hopefully when I am fully qualified as a solicitor.”

Alice also enjoys cooking and tries to cook as much as she can in the evenings, “I love Asian food, but I am yet to master the skill of making it yet.”

Alice’s favourite quote comes from E. F. Schumacher: “Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius — and a lot of courage — to move in the opposite direction.”
