Anna Heeley is a Partner in the Road Traffic Accident department at Express Solicitors, having joined the firm in October 2013. Anna specialises in complex matters such as disputes over liability, accidents involving a number of injuries, and accidents resulting in serious injuries.  When asked about her role at the firm, Anna explained: “I love working as a personal injury solicitor as I enjoy arguing and winning! My mum often says that she hasn’t won an argument with me since I was 6 years old. It’s not that I’m always right… I’m just good at arguing a point and love to win!” Anna’s passion to win an argument may go some way towards explaining her favourite quote by Confucius: ‘Choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.’

Anna has a great eye for detail and ensures that every single avenue has been exhausted in order to pick up on any key points. She comments: “In my cases I often see what others have missed, and it’s key details that have won me a great number of cases in the past!”

Before joining Express Solicitors Anna worked at Savas & Savage Solicitors for a little over 7 years where she was promoted to an Associate Solicitor position. She gained a law degree from Liverpool John Moores University in 2005 before going on to study an LPC at Chester College of Law.

Anna has been recognised in the 2017 Legal 500 who commentedTop_tier_firms

Anna Heeley manages cases with ‘skill and determination’. In a complex matter on liability and quantum the team secured a good settlement for the claimant who suffered a severe head injury and brain injury when she was knocked over by the defendant.

Whilst at university, Anna worked in high level customer service at 02 and received extensive training in that area.

Anna’s spare time is monopolised by her 18 month old German Shepherd. Anna loves dogs in general and Woofer is her pride and joy! Anna comments: “We completed kennel club puppy level good citizenship and recently we also passed our bronze exam in the same subject (basic dog obedience). We spend a lot of time training and playing – one of our favourite spots is in Gatley Carrs where he loves to paddle in the stream.”

As well as taking Woofer on walks to relax, Anna also likes to bake and cook. She states: “It’s a skill taught by my step father, it was how we bonded! Cakes are my favourite, especially muffins. Basically anything sweet that’s very bad for you!”
