Rene Hodelin-Blair is a Litigation Executive in the Road Traffic Accident (RTA) department at Express Solicitors, having initially joined the firms New Client Team in July 2018 before being promoted to the RTA department in January 2019.
When asked what Rene enjoys most about her role, she commented, “My Job enables me to achieve justice for those who fall victim to the negligent acts and omissions of others. Having the ability to ensure that the said individuals receive the most amount of compensation possible for their pain, suffering and any other losses that they may have incurred throughout is somewhat rewarding, having seen first-hand the repercussions such events have on people and their lives and the struggles that people in these circumstances are faced with on a daily basis.”
“I am able to adjust my approach to suit each and every client, this allows me to build rapport with clients making them feel at ease during the litigation process. Many clients are unfamiliar with the process of a claim and for some their encounter with Express will be their first and so they often lack confidence at the outset, I aim to ensure that all clients are confident in not only myself but the firm as a whole and are aware that we carry out the litigation process rigorously, efficiently and professionally.”
“I joined the firm in the summer of 2018 as a Litigation Assistant in the New Client team. I was the first point of contact for prospective clients and responsible for not only the gathering of all relevant information and providing exceptional client care. I have since progressed and become a Litigation Executive for Alison Turner in the Road Traffic Accident department. I am confident that the guidance provided by the senior members of staff in the department and the firm’s thorough training programme will allow me to develop the skills and understanding required to help our clients and bring a successful Road Traffic Accident claim and enable me to progress further within the business”
Rene began her legal journey when she first studied Law at A level, she then went on to study law at the Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated in July 2018. Rene commented, “The completion of my degree has been my greatest achievement to date and I plan to take on postgraduate study at some point in the future.”
