Associate Partner at Express Solicitors, Kathryn Turner, has been awarded clinical negligence specialist accreditation by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
To gain the accreditation, Kathryn had to complete an extensive application on the APIL website as well as a rigorous interview process. Kathryn has already achieved Litigator and Senior Litigator accreditation with APIL but this latest accreditation is an excellent quality mark that really demonstrates her expertise in the clinical negligence field.
To be granted this accreditation Kathryn had to show that she is able to manage and progress a clinical negligence case so as to establish, assert and enforce, in an effective and efficient manner, the rights of a client damaged or disadvantaged by the negligence of a clinical practitioner. Kathryn also had to demonstrate that she is competent to make, without supervision, key decisions on accepting cases, assessing risks, evaluating offers and issuing proceedings.
Express Solicitors are delighted that Kathryn managed to gain the accreditation through her first application and would like congratulate her on this success!
