Manchester-based personal injury law firm Express Solicitors has made nine appointments.
Partner Michael Connor joins the liability team, taking its total number to 36, including 15 solicitors. He has more than 25 years of PI experience and left the law firm he helped to set up in Liverpool – Hayes Connor Solicitors – to join Express.
Chris Hibbert has been taken on as an associate partner and head of the road traffic accident department, which has a 31-strong team. He has 20 years of legal experience.
The other new recruits are Mark Grist, Kevin Davis, Jenn Friedrich, Anna Thompson, Patricia Higgins, Ruth Magee and So Teng Tang.
James Maxey, managing partner at Express Solicitors, said: “In today’s ever-competitive personal injury market, quality of staff is paramount; it’s fantastic to have found so many talented solicitors that will be able to provide our clients with the high levels of service they’ve come to expect.
“To retain valued staff, we’re always investing in them and have recently built a training department for junior lawyers, as well as a quality and progression department that will help our solicitors and senior fee earners progress their cases to maximise compensation for clients.”
The firm now has a caseload of almost 10,000 and is progressing towards achieving its goal of £20m turnover within three years.
