Kate Taylor joined Express Solicitors in October 2013 and now works as a Trainee Solicitor. Her job involves drafting bills and compiling risk assessments of Costs. When asked about her role at the firm, Kate commented: “I enjoy the mathematical aspect of my role, I studied mathematics at A-Level and I have always enjoyed working with numbers. All the people have been lovely: very approachable and eager to lend a helping hand and offer support while I am learning.  Express Solicitors offers lots of in-house training which ensures that all the staff are up to date with any new developments or changes in the law.”

Kate discovered her interest in law when she played the role of a barrister in a Magistrates Mock Trial in 2005. She graduated from the University of Manchester with an Upper Class 2 Division I Law degree and is studying part time for her LPC.

In her spare time, Kate is an avid baker and loves to whip up as many delectable treats as possible. She also confesses to being a lover of all things Disney, and has visited Walt Disney World in Florida a total of 14 times!

Another passion of Kate’s is movies. She regularly attends the cinema in her town of Chorley to watch the latest releases on the big screen. Kate is also a qualified scuba diver, having gained her PADI qualification in Jamaica in July 2013.
