Victoria Laughlan is a Litigation Executive in the Occupiers and Public Liability department at Express Solicitors, having initially joined the firms New Client Team in November 2015.

When asked what she likes best about her role, Victoria commented, “I enjoy the variety within the cases and that no two days are the same.  I also love the team I work with, everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming.”

Victoria went on to say, “I’m a very approachable and empathetic person, which Clients appreciate. It helps that I’m able to build a rapport with them and understand what they are dealing with.”

Victoria initially studied at the University of Manchester and received a BSc in Zoology. While she found the subject fascinating and really enjoyed her time there, Victoria realised that a career in Law is what she wanted.

Victoria currently lives in Denton. A lot of Victoria’s time is taken up with her studies, however, when she does have some spare time she enjoys playing video games, especially single player games on the PlayStation but also enjoys a good game of Mario Kart with her other half.

Victoria is also a keen traveller and enjoys visiting new places, she went on to explain, “While studying with University of Manchester I spent a month in Belize and I have recently spent a month in Thailand. Next on my list is Vietnam and New Zealand.”

Victoria’s favourite quote –
