In the run up to Christmas, Express Solicitors run a Spot Prize incentive scheme. Members of staff can nominate their fellow employees for a prize if they feel as though they have gone above and beyond in their job role.
Each winner of a Spot Prize receives £50.00 shopping vouchers, a thank you card, and a balloon to show how much their hard work is appreciated by the firm.
This month’s winners include:
Emily Wattis –Emily does a great job on training, booking, logging, arranging, liaising and always gets a good deal for Express. She supports the business and helps with recruitment as well as the rest of the HR team.
Bianca Rowson – Bianca demonstrates excellent customer care and has helped with interpreting on a recent case building great rapport with the client.
Emma Carl – Emma was nominated for getting to the bottom of tasks, always helping and making sure of good process along the way!
Clare Gravestock –Clare was nominated by her team for always being supportive, making last minute changes (e.g. to her own rota pattern for the good of the firm) and getting involved in tasks beyond her remit. She has been a supportive team leader and a great mentor.
Charlie Brown – Charlie was nominated for always working hard, being flexible and willing to help when asked about any issue. Charlie is well regarded in the team for his quick turnaround of work.
Sophie Loxley – Sophie was nominated for getting a fantastic result on a Cost case management conference hearing. Sophie managed to get most Costs management issues agreed in her discussions with the Defendant rep outside the Court room!
Collette Davies – Collette was nominated for always working exceptionally hard and remaining very positive in face of difficult clients, unfazed and professional.
Andy Moran –Andy was nominated for always being willing to help, with a smile and going that extra mile for his fellow colleagues.
As well as spot prizes, fee earner prizes were also awarded. Anna Woodruff won an award for settling the most cases (22) and Jonathan Flattery won a prize for getting the most WIP put into Costs within the month, with Daniel Jamieson winning a prize for coming in close second place. Hannah Stark won a wildcard prize for obtaining the best result on PADA and an initial application hearing.
The Costs department gave out a number of awards too! Prizes were awarded to:
- Daniel Brassington & Jack Andrew for most agreed payments on Account
- Wesley Swindell for best biller
- Kate Taylor for most creative bill narrative
- Sarah Fowden for most costs cases settled
- Alex Summerscales for best all round costs bod
Thanks to the hard work of everyone in the firm, the November fee targets were met and the Partners kindly conducted a cash prize draw for all employees. Yunesh Yeeranah won first prize of £500, Amy Hacking won second prize of £250, and Wesley Swindell won third prize of £50.
